Benefits of Olive Oil Soap

1. The best moisturizer for your skin

First and foremost, the simple one. Olive oil is hydrating! It contains oleic acid, palmitic acid, and linoleic acids, all of which are beneficial to dry skin. It's also an emollient, which means it moisturises skin by smoothing and softening it.

Despite less lather compared to the regular commercial soap, Olive Oil Soap has a very clean and buttery feel. It has a long-lasting moisturizing effect, making it ideal for persons with extremely dry and sensitive skin, such as eczema and psoriasis.

As a result, unlike commercial soaps, our handmade soaps are high in glycerin, which acts as a humectant, drawing moisture from the environment to your skin to keep it moisturized and nourished for longer.

2. Soap that is extra mild and soft

Olive oil was determined to be a suitable ingredient in lotions used on pre-term newborns in a 2008 edition of "Paediatric Dermatology." If it's delicate enough for infants' skin, it's probably gentle enough for sensitive skin. Olive oil is hypoallergenic, and only a small percentage of people are allergic to it.

It's incredibly hydrating and glycerine-rich, and you may make it smell like your favourite aroma by adding essential oils.

3. Antioxidant properties

Because olive oil is a fundamental ingredient in our handmade soaps, it contains antioxidant characteristics. Free radical damage to the skin can be repaired using olive oil. It promotes the growth of new cells, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, and restores the young appearance of the skin.

Antioxidants prevent oxidation, which is a process that can produce free radicals. We do not want free radicals hanging around – these chemicals can damage cells and, in the worst cases, could lead to the development of cancer.

4. The ability to reduce inflammation

Olive Oil Soap has anti-inflammatory properties and is skin-friendly. It gently cleanses even the most delicate skin, including abrasions, rashes, and sunburns.

5. Contains vitamins

Olive oil contains vitamins that are good for your health and can also be good for your skin. Olive oil is high in vitamins A and D, as well as the skin-friendly vitamins E and K. These vitamins, according to Medical News Today, may be good to the skin. Vitamin E, for example, is commonly used to treat psoriasis and eczema as well as to prevent scarring.

All of our vegan olive oil-based soaps are devoid of harsh irritant chemicals like sulphates (SLE, SLES), parabens, EDTA, synthetic colour, and artificial scent because they are manufactured with only superior plant-based ingredients.

6. Can be a natural makeup remover

Makeup is removed gently and effectively without irritating the skin using olive oil-based soap, especially around the eyes. Please avoid getting soap in your eyes, as it will sting a little, just like any soap without pH neutralizing additives.
