How do I distinguish genuine soap and side shops imitations with low quality ingredients ?
Unfortunately like many traditional products, there are a lot of imitations being sold on the international market; they use cheap light oils and mix other chemicals and sometimes coloring to imitate the genuine soap. You only way of knowing that you are purchasing our genuine soap is when buying from our official partners. -
Do you stamp all your soap ?
We systematically stamp the pit olive oil soap being our flagship product that we only sell directly under our brand; Alnasser or Roots1880
We only stamp other traditional soaps on request, since the 6 tons manufacturing, curing and packing process takes 4 months; and some distributors use their own brands.
Herbal and facial care soap is either stamped or packaged with our brand.

Shape of the traditional soap
The soap is cooked over 3 days, than spread to a typical thickness of 5 cm, than cut in two directions to a square size of 7x7cm; the shape of the bar cannot be a perfect due to the manual process.
Further curing process the water evaporates, and the sides becomes concave. The longer the curing the more concave and solid the bar is. -
Is the traditional soap safe for babies and pregnant women
The soap does not contain any chemicals that may affect sensitive skin of babies or pregnant women.
Careful though with eyes contact, wash with plenty of water if it does. -

Necessary to maintain the same lather and cleaning effect as the pure olive soap soap. -

Actually we produce nearly 17 types of Traditional soap, but we only stock and sell online the most commonly purchased types based on worldwide demand. -
Laurel %; what is the difference between 5% and 10% Laurel
Due to customer's preference and skin conditions, and ease of storage.
higher percentages of laurel would require more stringent storage temperature and humidity to maintain the soap consistency and effectiveness.
